Head - Field Sales - EdTech (8-18 yrs)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Field Sales for our platform in India. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading high-performance field sales teams, a deep understanding of the education technology landscape, and the ability to drive revenue growth through strategic planning and effective execution.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and inspire a high-performing field sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve individual and collective sales targets.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the sales team, emphasizing continuous improvement and professional development.
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with the overall business objectives to drive revenue growth.
- Identify market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making.
Market Expansion:
- Identify and pursue opportunities for market expansion, working closely
with cross-functional teams to ensure successful entry into new regions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including
educational institutions, government bodies, and industry partners.
Sales Performance Optimization:
- Implement effective sales processes and methodologies to optimize
performance and enhance efficiency.
- Monitor sales metrics, analyze data, and provide actionable insights to
improve overall sales effectiveness.
Customer Acquisition and Retention:
- Develop and execute customer acquisition plans to drive user growth and
increase market share.
- Implement retention strategies to ensure long-term customer satisfaction
and loyalty.
Training and Development:
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the sales
team to enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and customer
engagement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate relevant training
modules.
Collaboration with Marketing:
- Work closely with the marketing team to align sales strategies with
marketing initiatives and ensure consistent messaging.
- Provide feedback to marketing for the development of impactful sales
collateral.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- 10+ Proven experience in leading field sales teams in the EdTech industry.
- In-depth knowledge of the Indian education market and trends.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel extensively as required.
