About the job

You will be part of the Bid Engineering team (Sales) part of the Welded Heat Exchangers (WHE) Business Unit in charge of building and managing technical-commercial offers.

Your responsibilities:

  • Identify customer needs in coordination / as interface with the Outside Sales team and analyze technical specifications. Study the input data and the relevance of AL Packinox with regard to the desired performances.

  • Analyze the solutions proposed by the technical teams and direct towards the best offer based on Customer needs to win the order.

  • To stay aligned and coordinate the team composed by engineering  / purchasing / project in order to guarantee the submission of offers within the agreed deadline.

  • Review technical output data and ensure the precise formulation of quotation documents, in coordination with relevant internal stakeholders.

  • Drive initiatives to contribute in the Sales & Bid teams process optimization coordinating with team in the factory.

  • Support and interact with Central BU Sales as well as Sales Companies globally.

What you know -

  • Ideally with a degree in mechanical or chemical engineering.

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of quotation preparation or project management, preferably in the oil and gas and petrochemical industries.

  • 1 yrs. experience working with heat exchangers or pressure vessels.

  • Knowledge of heat transfer & Standards- API, ASME, PED, EN and other pressure vessel codes is a plus.

  • Customer oriented 

  • Structure approach to work and critical thinking

  • Ability to work in team as well as carry on tasks autonomously 

  • Collaborative, solution-focused approach with strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Fluent English, basic knowledge of French is preferred
