Role Summary
Role Description
We are looking for a Data Engineer with 8+ years of work experience with hands-on cloud data migration development experience. The candidate should have industry experience (preferably in Financial Services) in supporting enterprise applications and exposure to Cloud based database engineering platforms.
⢠Design and develop high volume data ingestion components and solutions to collect data from various sources.
⢠Build data integrations between on-prem/cloud-based systems.
⢠Manage and use appropriate tools in the cloud data lake development and deployment.
⢠Responsible for developing/implementing cloud infrastructure to support current and future business needs.
⢠Participating in technical design, application build, configuration, unit testing, and production deployment.
⢠Ownership in diagnosis and resolution of issues, including the determination and provision of workaround solution or escalation to service owners.
⢠Preparation and maintenance of appropriate technical documentation
- Experience in AUTOSYS (any other job scheduler)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills is a must
- BS or Equivalent Finance/Computer Science degree
Core/Must have skills
AWS Cloud Data Engineering with Databricks,
Hands on experience with Cloud data migration on AWS using Databricks and maintaining cloud-based database systems..
Experience on Apache Kafka streaming processing and Python scripting.
Expertise in Data Modeling and DB design with strong skills in performance tuning
GIT, Jenkins, Oracle PL/SQL, Postgres, Autosys/Control-M/Job Schedulers
Work Schedule
Hybrid â 3-4 Days work from office
