Description : Our Information Security professionals are passionate about information security and control solutions for computing environments. While managing a world-class team of technology experts, you'll partner with one or more disciplines, lines of business, regions or locations to respond to evolving business requirements and emerging threats. You'll also leverage your expert knowledge of today's ever-changing cybersecurity and risk landscape to influence IT operations across the firm. Responsibilities include offering guidance, best practices, and support across businesses, leading risk reviews and vulnerability assessments, identifying threats, communicating with senior leaders and other stakeholders, and managing budgets.

Job responsibilities :

- Build a vision around the next level of security maturity for the business you will work with inputs from the security organization and work with Product and Engineering Leaders to deliver on that vision. This vision must enable business outcomes and continuously raise the security bar and not one or the other.

- Serve as a cyber risk advisor to the leadership team you partner with and help the organization focus and prioritize on initiatives with the greatest ROI using the rich datasets we already have and standing up data systems if needed

- Partner with Engineering teams to solve complex problems on the cutting edge of fields like Payments and banking APIs

- Be an enabler and partner with application architects and engineering leaders to design secure, scalable and resilient applications

- Hiring, shaping and developing a team of cyber risk advisors that are tightly integrated into the business

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills :

- Experience in a successful security and risk organization with strong security and technical skills

- Security Solution Architecture

- Experienced with microservices architecture, modern runtimes, a strong background in software engineering, and modern cloud constructs.

- Technical Service Delivery

- Shipping code & features

- Strong strategic vision mixed with delivery excellence

- Ability to work with cross functional technology partners - engineering, architecture & product management

- Strong leader, culture carrier and team player experienced in matrix organizations

- Demonstrated experience with product technologies (i.e., Infrastructure, Application)

- Modern Architectures - (data, cloud, mobile, APIs, micro-services)

- Experience in financial services consumer businesses (i.e., Mortgages, Cards or Digital) preferred but not required

- Able to communicate effectively and authoritatively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

- Thinks in terms of risks and outcomes

- Banking experience preferred but experience in industries with similar risk tolerance is acceptable

- An experienced architect comfortable with full stack technologies

- Well versed in modern architectures (data, cloud, mobile, APIs, micro-services)

- Cyber subject matter expert able to earn the respect of technology leaders
