- **Responsibilities:**
- Discuss the Cost of Change (= code quality) with your team members continuously.
- Write unit tests, integration tests, and API tests.
- Support the application 24/7 based on team on-call rotations.
- Write clean code (mindful about coupling, separation of concerns, etc.).
- Emphasize on Test-Driven Development (TDD) while writing code.
- Spend at least 10 PERCENT of your time learning and improving existing application architecture.
- Be open to learning and adapting to new technology architectures and patterns.
- Conduct code reviews and design discussions.
- Understand the impact of the change on data and troubleshoot complex problems in productions.
- Collaborate and coordinate with different stakeholders.
- Diagnose AWS infrastructure issues related to the application.
- Follow Agile principles and feature discussions.
- Monitor application performance and orchestration.
- Implement and practice DevOps and SecOps for continuous incremental delivery and quality product.

- **Key Skills Required:**
- Bachelor or Masters degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 4-8 years of experience with Spark using Scala, Spark SQL, and Presto.
- 4-8 years of advanced experience with Java and relational databases.
- 4 years of experience working with AWS services (RDS, S3).
- 4 hands-on experience with Airflow DAGs and Python.
- 2 experience with monitoring and alert orchestration tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpsGenie/PagerDuty.
- 2 experience with building CI/CD pipelines in GitLab for applications running on Kubernetes (EKS) using Docker.
- Ability to debug and performance-tune large scale Java and BigData applications.
- Fluent in English (C1 English level).
- Implement basic object-oriented and functional programming principles.
- Commitment to following best practices for security, scalability, and performance.
- Strong communication skills.
- Continuous improvement mindset for automation and optimization.
- Ability to document processes and technical architectures.

- **Preferred:**
- Leadership qualities.
- At least 1 year of experience with Test-Driven Development.
- Familiarity working with enterprise Java/BigData systems using Agile, TDD & DevOps methodologies.
- Proven track record of delivering enterprise software solutions using Agile scrum methodology.
