About Alstom in India

Currently, the company is executing metro projects in several Indian cities including Chennai, Kochi and Lucknow where it is supplying Rolling Stock manufactured out its state of the art facility at SriCity in Andhra Pradesh. OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

 

This role will be to handle the Payments Operations

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Operations:

  • Perform day to day tasks in Payment processes as assigned as per set SOP
  • Adhere to set process and SOPs in the day to day execution of tasks
  • Adhere to set controls in the process during execution of tasks
  • Actively contribute in performing Root Cause Analysis on all critical issues / errors reported, and closure of corrective and preventive actions
  • Effectively work on the IDPMS reconciliation and co-ordinate with the bank and business teams to ensure the closure of BOE
  • Keep a upto date summary on the IDPMS open items and ORMs along with justifications and actions required.
  • Ensure the delivery of reliable and timely information to business and GFC team.

 

 People:

  • Create, Retain and Develop a strong team with the necessary skills and expertise to ensure a high quality of service
  • Maintain high level  motivation within the team

 

Customer:

  • Build and maintain healthy rapport and trust with all up-stream and down-stream stake-holders.
  • Actively contribute towards strategic initiatives and special projects when assigned or required.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

 

EDUCATION

 

  • B.com/M.com/MBA
  • 2 to 5 years of proven experience preferably in Multinational Company as AP associate in a captive Finance shared service or BPO.
  • Good knowledge of Payments process (Domestic, Import, Statutory payments)
  • Good knowledge and understanding on the india import regulatory requiremnets / FEMA complaince.
  • SAP based ERP experience desirable and strong end-user Knowledge of SAP/related Finance tools

Mandatory

  • SAP based ERP experience desirable and strong end-user Knowledge of SAP
  • Relevant Past experience in involvement.

Desirable

  • Process management skills in other areas like Inter-company, AP (desirable)
  • Experience in integration projects from operating unit to FSSC or BPO (desirable)

 

EXPERIENCE / SKILL SET

  • 2 to 5 years of experience preferably in accounts payable environment in a Multinational Company with a minimum of 3 years of experience in payments process.
  • Language Skills: Proficient in English language
  • Location - Bangalore
