Fee Billing Operations - Vice President


Description:


Job Responsibilities:

- Manage and lead a team of billing analysts responsible for $1.5 billion in annual revenue billing, asset management fees, performance fees, and accounts receivable for separate accounts and gross of fee funds.

- Responsibilities include but are not limited to IM fee calculation, verification, discount calculation, Payment postings, reconciliation of the Fee Billing accounts, variance analysis, and data guardianship.

- Need subject matter expertise in fee agreement interpretation, fund structures and Alternative products preferred

- Working knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements such as ERISA, 12CFR9, as well as MFN (Most Favored Nation). Knowledge of Revport billing application helpful but not required.

- Strong customer focus and tenacity when forging long-term relationships with internal and external business partners that achieve sustainable and scalable results.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

- Understanding of the finance industry regulatory environment and impact on business strategy desirable

- ~10 years experience in the Financial Services industry

Exceptional Communication Skills:

- Ability to liaise with senior management and communicate at an appropriate level

- Attention to detail with the ability to succinctly communicate requirements to LoBs with appropriate presentation materials

- Ability to interpret issues raised then prioritize and communicate to senior management and other key stakeholders regarding resolution plans and expectations

Outstanding Work Ethic:

- Ability to consistently deliver results with little direct supervision and knows when to seek assistance or escalate

- Eager to learn and seeks out opportunities to enhance skills for themselves and team members.

- Deals comfortably with ambiguity and uncertainty; is flexible and has the ability to create clarity and consensus

- Comfortable working with multiple functions across regions and time differences

- Team player with ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with colleagues at all levels and across functions in a collaborative manner in order to achieve results, as well as ability to manage prioritization

Strong Technical Competencies:

- Excellent working knowledge of all MS Office applications

- Strong Analytical/Data Mining Skills
