Job Title: Associate Product Manager / Product Manager
Company Overview: CRIF High Mark is one of India’s leading providers of Credit Information. CRIF High Mark, an RBI licensed credit bureau, with its extensive bureau database provides information and analytical solutions to banks, NBFCs, insurance companies, telecom service providers amongst others.
Job Purpose: As a Product Manager, you will play a multifaceted role in driving the development, enhancement, and optimization of our products and services. You will be responsible for understanding existing products and solutions, identifying areas of improvements, gathering and analyzing business requirements, performing product testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product delivery and alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Product Development: Work on the product development process from concept to launch, work on enhancement of existing products, including defining product requirements, reviewing designs, conducting user acceptance testing, reviewing and updating product literature documents.
- Product Backlog: Develop and maintain the product backlog, outlining key initiatives, features, and milestones, aligned with priorities of the organization.
- Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences, leveraging insights to inform product decisions and roadmap prioritization.
- Product Performance: Monitor the product’s penetration, monthly usage, number of clients, and effectively present product performance metrics to relevant stakeholders for further action.
- Product Compliance: Collaborate with various stakeholders on product risk assessment, internal and external product audits, and product governance related tasks.
- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, and end-users, to elicit, prioritize, and document business requirements, user stories, and use cases.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data sets and performance metrics to derive actionable insights, identify patterns, and make data-driven recommendations for product enhancements and optimization.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure alignment of product development efforts with business objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Quality Assurance: Define test cases, perform quality assurance activities, and ensure product functionality and usability meet stakeholder expectations and acceptance criteria.
- Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their needs, gather feedback, perform product demos, walkthroughs, case studies and POCs, respond to client queries, fostering strong relationships and customer satisfaction.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements, contributing to the continuous improvement of processes, methodologies, and product offerings.
Knowledge / Skills:
- Excellent Product management with market analysis, stakeholder communication, cross-functional collaboration, data-driven decision-making, to drive product success.
- Excellent Business Analysis skills with requirement documentation, impact analysis, and product testing to ensure accurate product development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and cross-functional collaboration, with a track record of successfully working on product development initiatives from conception to launch.
- Strong business knowledge of lending industry is a must, specific knowledge on commercial credit and / or fraud management is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of credit scoring models, regulatory requirements, and industry standards is an added advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Masters degree finance, computer science, or a related field from a leading institution, or equivalent to these degrees.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in product management and business analysis, preferably within the banking and financial services or credit information industry.
