We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager of Operations to oversee all aspects of our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, supply chain optimization, and production planning within the aerospace/electronics/mechatronics or manufacturing industry. They will be responsible for driving efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the smooth and cost-effective operation of our manufacturing facilities.

**Specific Responsibilities:**

- **Strategic Planning:** Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize manufacturing operations, enhance productivity, and meet company objectives.
- **Production Management:** Direct and coordinate all aspects of production, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization, to meet production targets and deadlines.
- **Quality Assurance:** Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes to ensure that all products meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations.
- **Supply Chain Management:** Oversee procurement, inventory management, and vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of materials and components while minimizing costs and maintaining quality.
- **Operational Efficiency:** Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives through automation, technology adoption, and lean manufacturing principles.
- **Team Leadership:** Provide strong leadership and guidance to the operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- **Regulatory Compliance:** Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards governing drone manufacturing, safety, and environmental practices.
- **Budget Management:** Develop and manage departmental budgets, monitor expenses, and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency gains.
- **Cross-functional Collaboration:** Work closely with other departments, including engineering, sales, and customer service, to align operations with business goals and customer requirements.
- **Risk Management:** Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate operational disruptions and ensure business continuity.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven track record of success in operations management roles within the aerospace or manufacturing industry, with at least 10 years of experience in a leadership capacity.

**Relevant Experience/ Desired Skills & Characteristics:**

- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain dynamics, and quality management systems.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute long-term plans while effectively managing day-to-day operations.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to drone manufacturing (e.g., DGCA regulations, ISO standards) is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
