  • This is a critical role that will see you leading activities to manage, embed, define and implement our business processes

    As a Business Process Specialist, you’ll be making sure that all processes are consistent, aligned to customer journeys and are streamlined, effective, well managed and documented. You’ll be assessing customer and business requirements, researching and analysing potential solutions and making recommendations to enhance our processes, as well as managing the definition and implementation of all changes to them.

    Alongside this, you’ll continuously review all processes to make sure that processes are current, adhere to all relevant regulations and policies and are simplified for the users.

    Your role will also involve:

    • Providing technical and subject matter expertise on available technologies and processes to improve quality, customer satisfaction and cost performance
    • Driving a focus on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of finance processes
    • Carrying out the diagnosis, design and implementation phases of process methodology to identified processes, supporting both local and end-to-end optimisation work
    • Helping to diagnose complex issues leading to action oriented solutions
    • Working closely with business partners to support local tactical improvement workThe skills you'll need

      To join us in this role, you’ll have a Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt qualification, with knowledge of process improvement and simplification experience and qualifications. You'll also have experience of regulatory reporting projects and across finance.

      You'll be able to identify process simplification initiatives within the IST and the stress testing programme, using Lean, data analysis and continuous improvement methodologies to design go forward processes that align to cloud-based technologies and deliver simpler end-to-end processes.

      You’ll also bring:

      • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing skills and agile delivery experience
      • A flexible and adaptable approach to meeting requirements
      • Minimum five years of experience in process transformation and simplification across risk and finance
      • An understanding of how to work on process simplification levels to reduce manual effort in processes through tech and non tech process changes
      • Experience in process mapping using Visio or Blueworks
