Job Description

Role and Responsibilities• Establish and cultivate strong relationship with multiple internal and external stakeholders to deliver timely, insightful and actionable catastrophe analytics.• Excellent understanding of (Re) Insurance business with strong foundations in Cat Modelling and Accumulation Management functions.• Directly lead an experienced and diversified Cat Modelling team.• Managing deliverables at divisional level and providing Cat modelling insights to divisional stakeholders• Independently supervise and perform complex catastrophe modeling analyses. Translate the modeling output into actionable recommendations to enhance underwriting and pricing processes.• Sound knowledge of Cat Modelling platforms like RMS/AIR/IF• Strong SLA management experience within CAT Modelling operations.• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas, clearly and concisely.• Strong analytical ability and decision-making skills.• Strong project management skills• Excellent people management skills open to direction and collaborative work style.• Creating and strategizing business operations that deliver excellent results.• Ensuring a value added experience to all stakeholders by collaborating with them.Preferred Skills• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively both externally and internally within the team. • Robust organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple assignments in parallel.• Established analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to think strategically, work independently and take initiative to engage with day-to-day business.• Strong client management skills.• Excellent team engagement skills.Knowledge of RMS, AIR and other vendor modelling platforms.

Qualifications
• Degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or Actuarial Science
