Marsh McLennan is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Mumbai â Hiranandani, India office:
Senior Specialist - Accounting Operations (Grade C)
What can you expect?
- A member of the Finance function who will work with accounting operations team.Â
- Working closely with the onshore teams and other functional finance teams.
- Continuous mentorship â collaborate with peers as receive both formal training as well as day to day mentoring from your manager.

We will count on you to:
- Ensure achievement of agreed SLAs for the accounting operations team.
- Identify automation opportunities proactively within the process.
- Maintain and update documentation to comply with ISO standards.
- Manage month-end / quarter-end finalisation and reporting for the below processes:
- Payroll
- Fixed Assets
- Inter-company
- Bank reconciliations
- Accruals / Prepayments
- Leases
- Revenue
- Managing review for all balance sheets reconciliations and meeting the global deadlines.
- Managing audit requirements
What you need to have:Â Â Â Â Â
- Commerce Graduate with 4+ years of work experience / CA with 0-1 years of work experience.
- Attention to detail and accuracy of work.
- Ability to work within tight deadlines.
- Ability to deal with multiple formats of data & large volumes of data.
- Good communication skills.
- Must have worked on Oracle/ERP.
- Must be keen to learn.
What makes you stand out?
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel (Knowledge of macro preferable)
- Good Accounting knowledge
