The Challenge

Adobe Technology Services (ATS) organization has an exciting and challenging mission: Enable Adobe business to deliver, operate, and scale robust cloud solutions. We are the partner of choice for the business because we make the lives of our engineers better through technology and services. ATS provides cloud services, hosting, operations, security, and architectural support to Adobeâs growing suite of cloud-based products. In order for Adobe to provide compelling products to its customers, Adobe has a need to design, implement and maintain highly-available and responsive cloud infrastructures. Adobe requires a dynamic Computer Scientist with Software Development and Cloud Infrastructure skills. He/She should be capable of develop and delivering a 24*7 available and reliable Application environment. It is critically important to the company that the applications and database systems offer the highest levels of reliability and performance.

Job Description

Duties As a Software Engineer in Adobe Technology Services organisation, you will help the team develop, maintain and evolve the software services. Meet the quality expectations of the end-user and the company standards. On this job you will- Design, evolve and implement plans to increase the testing automation frameworks or systems Design and write manual or automated tests Run manual or automated test cases, aggregate and report the findings automatically Be part of the development team release by release, constantly improve and adapt the automation testing framework and system to the needs of the product. Investigate and recommend ways to improve product functionality, usability, reliability performance and security Participate in product requirements and development sessions using testing approaches and best practices to contribute to design decisions and to ensure seamless integration of new features with current system functionality.

Basic Qualifications

•  Bachelorâs Degree in Computer Science or related field
•  5+ years of development experience in Java (Python is a big plus).
•  Experience in MVC frameworks like Spring.
•  Shell scripting and experience in Unix/Linux platforms.
•  Cloud experience in Azure/AWS/Google.
•  Expertise in object oriented design and design patterns.
•  Experience in SQL database.
•  Web Technologies.(Java Script anReactJS is a big plus)
•  Experience releasing highly scalable enterprise products full lifecycle
•  Experience mentoring and training others on complex technical issues
•  Experience with implementing algorithms to solve complex real world problems
•  Solid coding practices including good design documentation, unit testing, peer code reviews, and a preference for agile methods
•  Excellent verbal and written communication

Preferred Qualifications

• A proven ability to learn and adapt to new, complex development environments with deep dive analytical skills
• Experience in algorithm design and problem solving.
• Experience in Machine Learning or Data Mining or Information Retrieval
• Experience in Big Data technologies.
• Experience in Docker, Kubernetes or similar technologies.
• Experience in No-SQL database.
• Have previous mobile web development experience
• Experience developing full stack web applications.
• Experience in any of the top JavaScript MVC frameworks, like Backbone, Angular, Ember, Spine or Knockout
• You stay updated on current web technologies
• Passion for creating efficient, scalable, highly usable web interfaces
• Experience exploring other opensource frameworks and technologies and integrating with project.

Qualities

• The ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear, concise and easy to understand manner is essential, as the candidate will involve in customer reviews and communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to adapt mid-stride to accommodate rapid evolutions of technology.
• Rapidly picks up new techniques, technologies, and concepts.
• Preferred applicant should have aptitude to work independently on projects/tasks with minimal instructions.
• Participation in technical blogging, PoCs and community projects.
• Good sense of humour.
