Position Overview:

This is a critical role within Consumer Communication Platform team, aligning into DMe business Unit. The Engineer is encouraged to take accountability of enabling Marketing automation and various platform needs for technical deliveries. The Engineer would be responsible for Solution, Design, Development, and Delivery of outstanding quality code.

In this role engineer can learn various aspects of customer engagement and its benefits.

Position Summary:

We seek innovative and hardworking server-side developers having a bachelors' degree with a keen interest and practical experience in crafting and implementing low-latency, high-performance, user-centric SaaS applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading a feature from conception to delivery

  • Engage with customers and product management teams (co-located in Bangalore) to understand the need and craft an innovative solution.

  • Elaborating the feature scope through competition analysis, research on recent technologies and trends to deliver the outstanding and often next-in-class solutions and iteratively work with customers to finesse the solution.

  • Writing use cases, preparing HLD, LLD, performance models, effort estimation and planning. Crafting the feature, coding and stabilisation of the feature.

  • Handling non-functional requirements like performance, memory leaks, memory errors, not just at the feature level but, analyses its impact at the solution level as well. Participate in the evolution of standard methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in development of Web technologies in server side using Spring, Hibernate, Tomcat, Databases (mysql, PGSql) etc

  • Experience on working on a customer focused, large sized SaaS product Solid understanding of current trends and backend services

  • Write proven, optimized, code in Java that follows the standard processes.

  • Solid understanding in AWS, Azure or Google cloud Familiarity with TDD and tools like JUnit, Mockito etc.

  • Exposure to GenAI technologies Understanding of OO concepts.

  • Good computer science fundamentals & deep data structures knowledge. Good problem solving skills.

  • Passionate about solving exciting problems for customers, eager to explore new grounds in technology and user experience.

  • Display a readiness to walk âuncharteredâ territory with a deep sense of curiosity, appetite for risk and perseverance to solve problems.
