Senior Account Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Account Executive to join our sales team. As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and closing new business opportunities, as well as expanding and retaining existing accounts. You will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our company through strategic sales initiatives and exceptional customer relationship management.
Responsibilities:
1. New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities, and effectively manage the sales process from prospecting to closure.
2. Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, serving as their trusted advisor and primary point of contact. Understand their business needs, goals, and challenges to proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and drive customer retention and satisfaction.
3. Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans and tactics to achieve revenue targets and exceed sales quotas. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to align sales efforts with company goals and objectives.
4. Solution Selling: Leverage a consultative sales approach to understand customer requirements and position our products or services as solutions that address their needs and deliver measurable value. Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and proposals to effectively communicate value propositions and differentiate our offerings in the market.
5. Forecasting and Reporting: Accurately forecast sales pipeline and revenue projections, and provide regular updates and reports on sales performance, activities, and progress against targets. Utilize CRM systems and sales tools to track customer interactions, manage opportunities, and streamline sales processes.
6. Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats and inform sales strategies and tactics. Gather and share market intelligence and customer feedback to support product development and enhancement efforts.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's/PG degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in sales or account management roles, with a demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
3. Proven ability to develop and nurture client relationships, negotiate contracts, and close deals in a competitive sales environment.
4. Strong understanding of solution selling methodologies, sales processes, and best practices.
5. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate value propositions and influence decision-makers at all levels of the organization.
6. Results-oriented with a sense of urgency and a passion for driving business growth and customer success.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a high degree of adaptability and resilience.
8. Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
