Job Description: Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) - Manufacturing Company
Position Overview:
As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) in our manufacturing company, you will play a critical role in aligning human resources strategies with business objectives. You will serve as a strategic consultant to business leaders, providing guidance and support on all HR-related matters. The HRBP will work collaboratively with management to develop and implement HR initiatives that drive employee engagement, performance, and organizational effectiveness within the manufacturing division.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Planning:
- Partner with senior leadership to understand business goals and develop HR strategies that support the achievement of those objectives.
- Analyze workforce trends and data to anticipate future needs and proactively address challenges.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs tailored to the manufacturing environment.
Talent Acquisition and Management:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Lead the recruitment process for key manufacturing roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.
- Implement effective onboarding programs to ensure new hires are integrated smoothly into the organization.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing guidance and resolution on employee relations issues.
- Conduct investigations into complaints or grievances, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
- Promote a positive work culture that values diversity, inclusion, and mutual respect.
Performance Management:
- Support managers in setting performance expectations and providing ongoing feedback to employees.
- Assist in the implementation of performance management systems and processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning.
- Identify opportunities for employee development and succession planning within the manufacturing division.
Training and Development:
- Assess training needs within the manufacturing workforce and develop learning initiatives to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
- Coordinate training programs on topics such as safety, compliance, technical skills, and leadership development.
- Monitor the effectiveness of training initiatives and make recommendations for improvement as needed.
HR Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws, regulations, and company policies within the manufacturing division.
- Partner with legal and compliance teams to mitigate HR-related risks and maintain a safe and ethical work environment.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and trends in HR to continuously improve processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HRBP or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment law.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven HR decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
