    What you'll do

    As a Business Analyst, you’ll be working across teams and stakeholders to capture, validate and document business and system requirements, making sure they are in line with key strategic principles, translated from business operations, business objectives and external requirements.

    Through the course of your work, you’ll also understand our business, customers, strategic goals and how the teams operate to support the realisation of the desired outcome by the team and contribute to the writing of business requirements and user stories and epics as required.

    In addition, you’ll be:

    · Interacting with customers, key stakeholders and the team to obtain and document functional and non-functional needs

    · Helping identify team priorities based upon feedback from customers, key stakeholders and the team

    · Eliciting requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits and more other relevant techniques

    · Supporting the team to analyse business requirements and technical specifications to see how they can be developed into small testable and releasable elements

    · Identifying and analysing operational risk, issues and dependencies around transitional and future state designs, and proactively highlighting them

    · Supporting the team to document requirements that have been met and evidenced by test results using the methods and standards required by the Quality Centre of Excellence

    The skills you'll need

    We’re looking for a very capable communicator who can communicate complex technical concepts clearly to their peers and management level colleagues.

    To thrive in this role, an appropriate business analyst certification will be essential with good communication skills.

    You’ll also need:

    • A good understanding of Agile values, principles and methodologies with experience of working within an Agile environment
    • Knowledge and a proven application of business analysis tools and techniques
    • Good collaboration and stakeholder management skills
