The Process Engineer 1 for Cytiva is responsible for Process engineering and project management activities for customized and standard products.

This position is located in Pune and will be Hybrid At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Analyze Customer User Requirements: Critical for understanding client needs and ensuring project alignment with customer expectations.

  • Develop Project Quality Plan: Essential for maintaining standards and ensuring project deliverables meet quality requirements.

  • Cross-Functional Communication and Coordination: Crucial for effective collaboration among different teams and suppliers to ensure project progress and alignment.

  • Project Risk Assessment: Vital for identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.

  • Financial Status Monitoring and Reporting: Critical for tracking project costs, managing budgets, and ensuring financial transparency throughout project execution.

    The essential requirements of the job include:

  • BSc/MSc or equivalent in Biochemical engineering, Process engineering, chemical engineering or equivalent. A higher degree or secondary degree in a related subject would be an advantage

  • Experience of process engineering / project management of equipment used in Biopharmaceutical manufacturing

  • Ability and willingness to work in a multinational and interdisciplinary team with a high degree of travelling.

  • Ability to communicate effectively on complex technical / engineering issues at the highest level. Cytiva internal as well as with the customer.

  • Knowledge and understanding of the current industry guidelines for designing, manufacturing, testing and documenting biopharmaceutical process equipment. (ASME BPE, GAMP, cGMP, ISPE, etc.)
