  1. Develop merchandising strategy around specific sub-categories in order to drive rapid, sustainable growth by examining past demand trends, profitability analysis, changing customer preferences
  2. Review and approve product mixes for their respective channel and category
  3. Formulate merchandising budgets, plans and forecast.
  4. Create regional & seasonal product strategy and line plan for each product in the category
  5. Create common cross-functional calendar and drive implementation across stores, regions & formats to enable achievement of sales revenue targets across categories (sub-categories & micro-categories)
  6. Supervise assortment productivity and Family Portfolio Management disciplines
  7. Recommend marketing & advertising activities to support segment level plans
  8. Collaborate with Design & Product Development/ Production on the development and execution of collections to ensure final costing is aligned to financial objectives, and timely delivery execution
  9. Set suggested retail prices, working in close relationship with Category Heads and Regional Merchandising Managers.
  10. Roll up direct retail OTB, define assortment and place buys, working closely with retail teams as well as wholesale, ensuring alignment
  11. Direct space plan(planogram) to support segment level business objectives
  12. Work closely with finance team to ensure financial plans are met and inventory management is maximized.
  13. Work closely with Marketing team to ensure appropriate in-store and on-line presentation and marketing campaigns
  14. Create weekly and monthly merchandising reporting in close collaboration with Financial Controller, lead analysis and propose actions.
