Responsibilities

  • **Credit Risk Analysis: ** Conduct in-depth analysis of credit risk factors and trends to inform decision-making and strategy. -
  • **Development of Scorecards: ** Design and develop credit scoring models and scorecards to assess the creditworthiness of applicants. -
  • **Business Rule Engine: ** Implement and optimize business rule engines to streamline credit decision processes. -
  • **Model Implementations: ** Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and validate credit risk models and ensure alignment with business objectives. -
  • **Predictive Risk Modelling: ** Utilize machine learning techniques to develop predictive risk models that enhance credit assessments. -
  • **Data Modelling: ** Analyse and model data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that support credit risk management. -
  • **CRIF Strategy 1 Implementation: ** Assist in the implementation of CRIF Strategy 1 to enhance our credit assessment capabilities. -
  • **Credit Scoring Engine Development: ** Contribute to the development and enhancement of the credit scoring engine to improve efficiency and accuracy in credit decisions. -
  • **Data Analysis and Reporting: ** Provide actionable insights through data analysis and reporting to inform business strategy and decision-making.

Qualifications


Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.

Proven experience in the NBFC sector or financial services.

Strong knowledge of creditrisk assessment, credit scoring, and predictive modelling.

Proficiency in data modelling and analysis techniques.

Experience with machine learningframeworks and tools (Python, R, etc.).

Familiarity with creditdecision engines and business rule engines.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.

Strong communication skillswith the abilityto present complexdata insights clearly.


**Preferred Qualifications: **

Experience with retail finance or microfinance institutions (MFI).

Knowledge of CRIF and its applications in credit risk assessment.

Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
