JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Insight Global's client is searching for a Payroll Specialist that specializes in implementations/transitions. This organization is currently undergoing the implementation of different HR/Payroll processes and is looking for a qualified candidate to map out the future ‘to be’ payroll process details and identify the end-to-end flow of payroll process. This will include interfacing across multiple teams throughout the organization to assist in documenting payroll processes throughout the transition period of implementing the new payroll solution.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare a list of all payroll processes with regards to Pay cycle run for the country (US, Mexico, & India). This will include Fixed, variable changes including Personal and Personnel changes and reporting.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in internal HR, Finance, and IT teams as well as vendor/partners implementing new payroll solution.
  • Create clear Process maps for each of the payroll process, in the new system environment, to visually describe the flow of payroll tasks.
  • Map out detailed processes in Swimlane flowcharts to clearly identify roles and responsibilities to fulfill each sub-process.
  • Support the testing and ensure that all steps undertaken in the system are captured in process documentation.
  • Document gaps in the process, if any, and facilitate discussions with relevant stakeholders to devise solution to close any process gaps.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 1 year of professional experience with the following business processes in relation to Payroll:
  • New Hires
  • Salary Changes
  • Leave of Absence
  • Pension/ Benefits
  • GL Reporting
  • Arrears / Backdated changes
  • Professional experience being part of a system transition.
  • Professional understanding of process mapping, specifically Swimlane flowcharts.
  • Professional experience with a Data Visualization software to draw out and portray different Payroll processes.
  • Professional experience with Payroll processes in the following countries: United States, Europe, and India.
