We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer with expertise in DC motors, servo motors, and Arduino programming to join team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, development, and optimization of mechanical systems and devices incorporating these technologies. They will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet project objectives and exceed customer expectations.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Designing and optimizing mechanical systems and components that integrate DC motors, servo motors, and Arduino-based control systems.
  • Conducting feasibility studies and performance analyses to assess the suitability of different motor types and control strategies for specific applications.
  • Developing and implementing control algorithms and software routines for motor control using Arduino or similar platforms.
  • Collaborating with electrical engineers and software developers to integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components into cohesive systems.
  • Conducting prototyping and testing activities to validate designs, optimize performance, and ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Participating in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and cross-functional meetings to contribute technical expertise and insights.
  • Providing technical support to manufacturing, assembly, and testing teams during the production phase, including troubleshooting and problem-solving as needed.
  • Staying up-to-date with advancements in motor technology, control systems, and embedded electronics, and incorporating new developments into design projects as appropriate.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on the design and integration of DC motors, servo motors, and Arduino-based control systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for 3D modelling and mechanical design (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
  • Strong understanding of motor dynamics, control theory, and feedback control systems.
  • Experience with Arduino programming, including familiarity with C/C++ programming languages and development environments.
  • Knowledge of motor drive circuits, power electronics, and sensor interfacing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a track record of delivering high-quality, reliable solutions.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
