Job Title: Manager – Vulnerability Management

Location: Pune


SUMMARY:

The Manager - Vulnerability Management is a people leader role responsible for building and overseeing a Pune-based team of vulnerability management engineers focused on vulnerability assessment and reporting as well as engagement with stakeholders across our Infrastructure and Application teams, third parties, and other internal departments and organizations to govern remediation of vulnerabilities.


Key Responsibilities:

This is a manager role that requires excellent organizational, communication and people leader skills.

Partner with Vulnerability Management leadership to build and manage Pune-based Vulnerability Management team including task delegation, roadmap and resource planning, and career-development.

Govern vulnerability remediation initiatives aligning with multiple support teams globally with primary focus on international business units.

Manage vulnerability metrics dashboards/reports providing leadership and relevant stakeholders insight into vulnerability management activities and progress.

Execute global strategic vision for Vulnerability Management.


Experience and Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity or similar or equivalent work experience.

12-15 years Prefer Security Certification(s) (i.e., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or other equivalent recognized security certifications.

Qualys, MDE & C, CISSP

Experience working and managing direct reports in a large, geographically dispersed environment.

Understanding of industry standard regulations, risk management and security controls frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO, PCI, NIST, GAPP, HIPAA, GDPR, CIS, SANS, OWASP Top 10, MITRE ATT&CK, etc.).

Minimum 3 years of experience managing IT or IT security teams.

Strong understanding of information security principles.


Skills Desired:

Excellent communication skills: able to explain complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Understanding of risk assessment methodologies.

Experience with various vulnerability assessment and/or tools a plus (Qualys, Microsoft Defender, Tanium, Armis or similar).

Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work collaboratively within a team.
