We are seeking a skilled and experienced Delivery Manager to lead our BI projects and ensure the successful delivery of our services.

Position Overview: The Delivery Manager for Business Intelligence will be responsible for managing the delivery of BI solutions, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and meet the highest quality standards. This role requires a deep understanding of BI tools and technologies, strong project management skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team.

Key Responsibilities:


Strong experience of BI tools and technologies (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, SQL, ETL processes, data warehousing) is mandatory.


Project Delivery Management:

  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of BI projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and quality assurance.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, proactively addressing any issues that arise.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of BI professionals, including data analysts, developers, and consultants.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, promoting continuous learning and professional development.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Client Engagement:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Understand client needs and requirements, translating them into actionable project plans.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality BI solutions that meet or exceed expectations.

Technical Oversight:

  • Provide technical guidance and support to the BI team, ensuring the use of best practices and cutting-edge technologies.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of BI solutions, including data warehouses, dashboards, and reporting systems.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency in all BI deliverables.

Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborate with senior management to define and implement the BI strategy, aligning it with the overall business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovations in BI service delivery.
  • Contribute to the development of business proposals and presentations for potential clients.

Resource Management:

  • Allocate resources effectively to ensure optimal project execution and delivery.
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and adherence to financial targets.
  • Coordinate with other departments and teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare and present regular project status reports, highlighting key achievements, risks, and issues.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, timelines, budgets, and performance metrics.
  • Utilize data analytics and BI metrics to evaluate project performance and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience:
  • At least 10-12 years of experience in project management, with a focus on Business Intelligence or Data Analytics projects.
  • Proven track record of managing and delivering complex BI projects in a service industry setting.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of BI tools and technologies (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, SQL, ETL processes, data warehousing).
  • Experience with data modeling, data visualization, and database management.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based BI solutions and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Project Management Skills:
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and manage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
