Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Process Advisor to join our team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a retired process professional who possesses extensive expertise in process engineering and is eager to contribute their wealth of knowledge to our ongoing projects. The Process Advisor will provide strategic guidance, technical insights, and mentorship to our engineering teams, ensuring the highest standards of process design and optimization.


Key Responsibilities:

- Provide expert advice and consultation on process engineering projects, including design, optimization, and troubleshooting.

- Review and evaluate process designs, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

- Collaborate with project teams to identify and implement process improvements, enhancing efficiency, safety, and sustainability.

- Mentor and support junior engineers, sharing knowledge and fostering professional development within the team.

- Participate in project meetings, offering insights and recommendations based on extensive industry experience.

- Stay updated with the latest advancements in process engineering and technology, integrating relevant innovations into project strategies.

- Assist in the development and review of technical proposals, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project objectives.

- Provide guidance on regulatory compliance, risk management, and quality assurance in process engineering activities.


Expertise and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.

- A minimum of 20 years of experience in process engineering, with a significant portion of that time spent in senior or advisory roles.

- Proven track record of successful project execution in the energy, petrochemical, or related industries.

- In-depth knowledge of process design principles, simulation software, and industry standards.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide innovative solutions to complex challenges.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

- Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and safety standards in the process engineering field.

- Willingness to work on a contract basis, with flexibility in terms of working hours and project commitments.
