Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer

We are seeking a qualified and experienced QA/QC Engineer to lead quality assurance and quality control functions across our real estate projects. This role will be responsible for ensuring adherence to quality standards in civil, structural, finishing, and MEP works, managing third-party inspections, and driving continuous quality improvement at construction sites.Key Responsibilities:1. Quality Assurance PlanningDevelop project-specific QA/QC plans, checklists, and inspection protocolsDefine and implement quality standards in line with IS codes, NBC, and project specificationsCoordinate with design, procurement, and project execution teams to ensure quality alignment across functions2. Site-Based Quality MonitoringConduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor construction qualityIdentify non-conformities, initiate NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and ensure timely corrective actionsVerify material quality, concrete mixes, rebar work, waterproofing, and structural finishes3. Documentation & ReportingMaintain comprehensive QA/QC records including test reports, site observations, and approval notesPrepare weekly and monthly quality dashboards for managementEnsure traceability and accountability of all quality records and lab reports4. Vendor and Contractor Quality OversightReview and approve contractor QA/QC plans and method statementsMonitor subcontractor performance and workmanship at all stagesSupport vendor evaluation and approval for critical materials and systems5. Laboratory & Testing SupervisionSupervise internal and third-party lab testing for concrete, steel, soil, and waterproofing systemsEnsure calibration of tools and adherence to testing protocolsApprove mix designs, material samples, and trial installations6. Handover and Post-Completion QualityConduct snag inspections and prepare snag rectification reportsEnsure units are handed over to customers in defect-free conditionCoordinate with CRM and facilities team to track and resolve post-handover complaints within defect liability periodRequired Qualifications & Skills:B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred)In-depth knowledge of construction quality practices, codes, and testing methodsStrong understanding of structural, finishing, and MEP quality checkpointsHands-on experience with QA/QC documentation, audits, and reportingFamiliarity with ISO 9001:2015 QMS and other quality frameworks
