About the Role

We are looking for a Team Member in HR for RP Goenka International School who would be responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations and contribute to a wide range of HR functions which includes recruiting, talent management, employee relations, performance management, staff development, ensuring compliance with all legal & educational regulations, and the development of a positive, inclusive school environment. This role requires a proactive, service-oriented approach and the ability to foster a positive and supportive work culture for a diverse, multicultural team.

Reporting: Head HR - RPGIS

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition:

  • Drive the recruitment process for academic and non-academic staff by implementing recruitment strategies to attract highly qualified potential educators and professionals from around the globe.
  • Ensure seamless flow of the entire gamut of Talent Acquisition from branding to onboarding.
  • Establish and curate a dynamic repository of high-calibre talent profiles, ensuring a robust pipeline of exceptional candidates to proactively address future recruitment needs.

Employee Relations & Engagement:

  • Act as the primary liaison for personnel, addressing complex HR-related inquiries and concerns with discretion, and strategic problem-solving for both employees and potential hires
  • Help foster a supportive school culture by assisting with engagement initiatives and organizing team-building activities.
  • Serve as a strategic conduit between employees and Senior Leadership Teams (SLTs), fostering seamless communication, alignment, and engagement through exceptional stakeholder management.

Compliance & Policy Development:

  • Ensure the clear communication, accessibility, and consistent implementation of HR policies, fostering transparency, compliance, and informed decision-making among staff.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of new policies, ensuring alignment with the school's standards, legal requirements, and International Baccalaureate (IB) guidelines to uphold best practices and regulatory compliance.

Staff Wellbeing:

  • Implementation and execution of comprehensive wellness initiatives and programs in discussion with Special educators, fostering a supportive and holistic environment that enhances staff well-being, engagement, and productivity.

MIS and Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain the Talent Acquisition (TA) dashboard, operations dashboard, and other critical employee data, ensuring accurate insights to drive strategic HR interventions and informed decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or related field. A Master's degree in HR or Business is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in HR management.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong decision-making skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing environments, particularly in a fast-paced, evolving educational setting.
  • Stakeholder Management: The ability to identify and engage stakeholders to align their interests and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail, ensuring all HR processes and policies are executed with accuracy.
