Position: Python Django Developer Type: Full-Time Contract (6 months, extendable) Location: Remote / Work-from-Home Experience: 2–3+ years Compensation: ₹38,000 – ₹45,000 per month (based on experience) Joining: Immediate preferredAbout the RoleWe are hiring a dedicated Python Django Developer for a full-time contractual role to work on backend development, API creation, integrations, and feature enhancements. The candidate should be capable of independently handling assigned modules and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This is a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and enhance backend systems using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework (DRF).Build scalable REST APIs and ensure seamless integration with frontend applications.Implement authentication, user management, and role-based access features.Design and manage relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).Optimize SQL queries, create migrations, and maintain data integrity.Work with caching systems (Redis preferred).Integrate third-party APIs (payment gateways, SMS/email services, cloud tools).Support deployment on cloud platforms like AWS, DigitalOcean, or similar.Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code.Participate in code reviews and debugging sessions.Ensure performance, reliability, and security best practices.Required SkillsStrong knowledge of Python and Django framework.Hands-on experience with Django REST Framework.Solid understanding of SQL, ORM, and relational database concepts.Basic understanding of HTML/CSS/JS for debugging and API integration.Experience with Git and version control workflows.Ability to work independently and deliver within deadlines.Good to HaveExperience with Celery/background tasks.Knowledge of authentication systems like JWT/OAuth.Exposure to microservices or event-driven architectures.Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3) or cloud hosting.Soft SkillsStrong communication and reporting skills.Ownership-driven, reliable, and consistent in delivery.Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently.Contract DetailsDuration: 6 months (extendable)Working Hours: Full-time (8 hours/day, 5 days/week)Compensation: ₹38,000 – ₹45,000 per monthMode: Remote
