About the role:
As the Social Media Executive, you’ll set the tone of who we are and how we act, talk to our audience, and manage our social media platforms.
But your role doesn’t here. You will be expected to pitch some fun and original ideas to enhance our brand’s online presence.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Content Strategy: Develop and implement effective social media content strategies that align with our brand goals and target audience.
- Content Creation: Design and create high-quality, visually appealing content for various social media platforms, including graphics and videos.
- Content Scheduling: Plan and schedule social media posts using social media management tools to ensure a consistent and engaging online presence.
- Community Management: Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with followers to build a strong online community.
- Campaign Management: Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns that drive engagement, brand awareness, and conversions.
- Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze social media performance using analytics tools, and prepare regular reports to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure our strategies remain relevant and effective.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to ensure cohesive and integrated social media efforts.
- Brand Voice: Maintain and enhance the brand voice across all social media channels, ensuring consistency in messaging and tone.
Desired Skills and Functional Experience:
- Experience: 0-4 years of experience in social media management and design, preferably in-house with a reputed brand. Experience in non-product centric storytelling is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite), social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn), social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer), and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
- Creativity: A creative thinker with a knack for developing engaging and visually appealing content that resonates with the target audience.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling social media posts and interact with followers.
- Organization: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights to improve social media strategies and performance.
- Passion: A genuine passion for social media and staying ahead of industry trends.
