Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Full Stack Developer with AI Expertise at Velocius AI Labs. We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer with strong full-stack expertise and exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) to join our innovative team. You will work on challenging real-world scenarios, explore new AI techniques, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into various applications. This position will be based in our Chennai office.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative AI solutions to address challenging customer problems.
  • Conduct research to provide scalable technical solutions for real-world challenges across various domains.
  • Explore and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in artificial intelligence, including computer vision, natural language processing, machine learning, and Generative AI.
  • Investigate cutting edge Large Language Models (LLMs) to identify the optimal LLM for a given use case, in terms of performance and cost.
  • Design, build, and maintain AI software systems, including autonomous agents, neural networks, and deep learning systems.
  • Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Monitor and evaluate model performance to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop APIs for AI-based software modules to enable programmatic access.
  • Integrate AI-based software modules into application environments or develop user interfaces to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Collaborate with other teams to seamlessly integrate AI capabilities into existing systems.
  • Troubleshoot and debug problems in AI systems.
  • Actively contribute to the growth of the business, lead by example, and foster a positive working environment.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a software engineer, with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in AI development.
  • Proficiency in common programming languages used in AI, such as Python and Java.
  • Experience in developing APIs and working with related technologies (REST, JSON, XML, SOAP, YAML, GraphQL, Swagger).
  • Front-end development experience, particularly with technologies like React, Angular, or similar frameworks, is a plus.
  • Proficiency in working with both relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience in deploying and delivering solutions using microservices-based and server less architectures.
  • Familiarity with cloud frameworks, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong expertise in working with datasets and writing efficient code for processing large data streams at high speed.
  • Familiarity with deep learning and machine learning algorithms, along with experience using popular AI/ML frameworks.
  • Exposure to Generative AI, especially expertise related to Large Language Models (LLMs), is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
