Job OverviewThe US Tax Senior Associate will be part of the U.S. tax practice supporting U.S. clients and onshore teams. The role involves handling complex tax compliance work, reviewing U.S. tax returns, performing tax research, and supporting planning engagements. The position also includes mentoring junior team members and coordinating with U.S.-based stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.Key ResponsibilitiesTax Compliance & Return PreparationPrepare and review U.S. federal and state tax returns including Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120SHandle multi-state and multi-entity filingsReview workpapers, partner allocations, basis calculations, and K-1 reportingEnsure accuracy, completeness, and timely filing of returnsTechnical Research & PlanningPerform U.S. tax research on federal and state tax mattersAssist in analyzing tax law changes and their impact on clientsSupport tax planning initiatives and documentation of tax positionsClient & Engagement SupportCoordinate with U.S. engagement teams on deliverables and issue resolutionAssist in responding to client queries and follow-upsSupport engagement managers with project tracking and reportingTeam DevelopmentGuide, mentor, and review work of junior associatesContribute to process improvements and quality initiativesSupport training and knowledge-sharing activities within the teamRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field2–5+ years of experience in U.S. tax complianceStrong knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax regulationsExperience with U.S. tax software (e.g., GoSystem, CCH Axcess, OneSource, or similar)Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to work in a deadline-driven, global delivery environment
