Job Description:

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Data Architect to join our team and lead our data architecture efforts. As a Senior Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing sophisticated data solutions that align with our business objectives and support advanced data analytics and insights.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of the overall data architecture strategy and vision, collaborating with business stakeholders and technology teams.
  • Design and implement complex data models, data pipelines, and ETL processes to support data integration, transformation, and storage.
  • Define data governance and security policies to ensure data accuracy, privacy, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, tools, and platforms for data storage, processing, and analytics.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to data engineers and other team members, promoting best practices and continuous learning.
  • Oversee the management and optimization of data warehouses, data lakes, and other data storage solutions.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business users to understand data requirements and deliver valuable insights.
  • Drive data architecture initiatives and projects, ensuring successful implementation within scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data architecture and management.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Architect, including a strong track record of designing and implementing data solutions in complex environments.
  • Expertise in data modeling, database design, ETL processes, and data integration.
  • Proficiency in working with both relational and NoSQL, SQL Server, Microsoft BI and SSIS
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security principles.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical
  • stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Data Professional, AWS Certified Big Data) are advantageous.
