Job Title: Copywriter (D2C Brand)

Job Description: We are seeking a talented Copywriter with 3+ years of experience in Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) brands to join our team. As a Copywriter, you will play a crucial role in creating brand launch content, defining brand identity, and establishing tonality for our D2C brand. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for storytelling, exceptional writing skills, and the ability to craft compelling and on-brand messaging.


Responsibilities:

Brand Messaging and Voice: Develop and maintain brand messaging guidelines, ensuring consistency across all communication channels. Define and refine the brand's voice, tone, and personality to establish a unique and compelling brand identity.

Brand Launch Content: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create captivating and persuasive brand launch content. This includes brand stories, product descriptions, website copy, social media content, and other marketing collateral. Ensure the brand's messaging resonates with the target audience and aligns with the brand's values and positioning.

Creative Concept Development: Work closely with the creative team to brainstorm and develop innovative ideas and concepts for marketing campaigns, promotions, and other brand initiatives. Collaborate on visual storytelling strategies to create cohesive and engaging brand experiences.

Copy Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit copy for grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors. Ensure accuracy and consistency of messaging, maintaining brand guidelines and style.

SEO Optimization: Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to optimize website and content copy for search engines. Collaborate with the digital marketing team to align copy with SEO strategies and goals.

Collaborative Teamwork: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and product, to ensure consistent messaging and a seamless brand experience across all touchpoints. Provide copywriting support for various projects and campaigns as needed.

Creative Brief Development: Assist in the development of creative briefs to provide clear direction to designers and other team members involved in content creation. Ensure that project objectives, target audience, and key messaging are effectively communicated.


Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, marketing, or a related field.

2+ years of experience as a copywriter, preferably within D2C brands.

Strong portfolio showcasing exceptional copywriting skills and creative concept development.

Proficiency in crafting compelling brand stories and defining brand voice and tonality.

Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading abilities with a keen eye for detail.

Familiarity with SEO best practices and keyword research.

Understanding of D2C brand strategies and consumer behavior in the digital landscape.

Ability to adapt writing style to different target audiences and communication channels.
