Company Description:
We are hiring for one of our prestigious clients, one of the largest business consulting firms in the world in Accounting & Advisory services.
What Work You Will be Responsible For:
- Managing sales tax compliance process for clients sales tax returns
- Interacting with clients and managing staff
- Corresponding with state and local tax authorities to resolve client issues
- Notice resolution and business licenses for clients
Basic Requirements:
- 10+ years' of overall experience & 8 years in sales tax compliance
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent field a plus
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
- Experience with sales tax preparation software such as Vertex, Avalara, One Source or TaxJar
- etc.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Alteryx or Power BI a plus; Quickbooks, Shopify and Stripe platforms
- Understanding of sales and use tax issues, including exemption, deductions, prepayments,
- tax accruals and reserves, journal entries.
- Experience working directly with clients and global counterparts.
Must Have Qualifications:
- Recommended professional qualifications are CPA, CA, EA . Alternatives are Masters in Tax, or CMI designation from IPT.
