Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced US Accounting & Payroll Manager to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in US accounting practices, significant experience in ERP systems, and a proven track record in managing accounting teams. This role requires a leader who is adept at overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and driving efficiency in accounting and payroll processes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Oversee and manage the US accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • ERP Expertise: Utilize ERP systems to streamline accounting processes, enhance reporting accuracy, and drive financial efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of 4 or more accounting professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  • P&L Management: Manage and analyze Profit and Loss statements for individual cost centers, ensuring accurate financial reporting and budget adherence.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with US GAAP and other regulatory requirements. Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy within the accounting function.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to support business objectives and address any financial-related issues or inquiries.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in US accounting, with a proven track record in leading and managing an accounting team.
  • ERP Knowledge: Demonstrated experience working with any ERP (SAP or UNANET) systems; proficiency in ERP software is essential.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience in developing and guiding accounting teams.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA) are preferred.
