Job Summary
This unique role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Director to design, implement, and refine HR policies, systems, and practices across all sectors of our business. In the initial 3-month internship, you will support the development of HR strategies for our jewelry, hospitality, and retail divisions, laying the foundation for a full-time role leading HR for our family enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
Developing Systems & Policies for all employees and department
Collaborate with the Director to create and establish HR systems and policies tailored to each business sector, including jewelry (B2B and B2C), resort/hospitality, and retail.
Implement core HR practices such as recruitment protocols, employee records management, and compliance measures.
Maintaining a strict employee welfare culture.
Recruitment & Onboarding
Assist in sourcing, screening, and shortlisting candidates for various roles across our business units.
Coordinate interview schedules, maintain candidate records, and support the onboarding process for new hires.
Employee Engagement & Relations
Organize employee engagement activities to foster a positive and cohesive workplace culture.
Contribute to initiatives that enhance employee morale and reinforce a vibrant work environment across all business domains.
HR Operations & Documentation
Maintain accurate, confidential employee records across our business units.
Support payroll processing, attendance tracking, and other key HR operations.
Learning & Development
Partner with the Director to design and implement training programs tailored to the needs of different departments.
Track training participation, gather feedback, and report on program effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.
Administrative & Strategic Support
Provide administrative support to the Director on day-to-day HR activities.
Assist in preparing reports, tracking HR metrics, and supporting special HR-related projects as needed.
Qualifications
Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Skills
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HR software/tools.
Strong organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and integrity.
Personal Attributes
Proactive, eager to learn, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
Adaptable and comfortable managing HR functions across varied business domains.
Opportunity for Growth
We are looking for a candidate who has substantial internship experience, gain hands-on experience with our team for an initial 3-month trial period, and then transition into a full-time role to head the HR department for all the businesses in the future.
