We are seeking a leader with deep experience in the healthcare industry to join our team as Vice President - Healthcare. 


Position Overview:

As Vice President of Healthcare Investments, you will provide valuable insights into scientific and market trends, enabling you to shape investment strategies. This role requires deep technical expertise, a strong understanding of healthcare systems, and significant experience in leadership positions within the healthcare industry.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of investments in healthcare sectors such as biotechnology, digital health, medical devices, therapeutics and diagnostics. 
  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence, including assessments of regulatory pathways, intellectual property, clinical trial data, and commercial viability.
  • Provide strategic support to portfolio companies
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem in India and the US. 


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10+ years experience in the healthcare industry, in areas such as R&D, regulatory affairs, product development, clinical operations, or commercial strategy. 
  • A technical background is required, with at least an undergraduate degree in a healthcare related field. Advanced degrees (e.g. PhD, MD, MS) are highly preferred.
  • Prior healthcare investment experience in a Venture Capital fund, Private Equity fund or a Corporate Venture Capital fund is preferred. 
  • Extensive network within the Indian healthcare ecosystem  
  • Strategic thinking and a passion for advancing healthcare innovation through a combination of scientific knowledge and business expertise.
