Role Description


This is a full-time on-site role as an Assistant Revenue Manager at Indismart Group in the Bangalore / Delhi / Kolkata. The role involves day-to-day tasks related to revenue recognition, finance, revenue management, and accounting within the education and hospitality sectors. You will be responsible for maximizing overall revenue by developing and implementing effective strategies. You will analyze market trends, manage room inventory, set pricing strategies for all our 3 hotels based in Kolkata, Goa and Bangalore, and work closely with the sales and marketing teams to drive revenue growth. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring the financial success of our hotel while maintaining exceptional guest satisfaction.


Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement revenue management strategies to optimize revenue and profitability

- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges

- Manage room inventory, pricing, and distribution channels to maximize revenue potential

- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop pricing strategies and promotional offers

- Monitor and evaluate performance metrics, including RevPAR, ADR, and occupancy rates

- Conduct regular revenue meetings to review performance and adjust strategies as needed

- Utilize revenue management software and tools to support decision-making processes

- Prepare regular reports and analysis for management review


Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field

- Proven experience in revenue management within the hospitality industry, preferably in a managerial role

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficiency in revenue management software and tools

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

- Certification in Revenue Management is a plus
