Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial stability and strategic growth of our company. You will provide insightful financial analysis, drive process improvements, and contribute to strategic decision-making at both the finance and organizational levels.


Responsibilities:

  • Supervise day-to-day accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions in accordance with company policies
  • Assisting in IT filing, GST compliance, and TDS management 
  • Managing the annual audit process and financial statements production
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies as necessary to address any compliance issues or inquiries
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting
  • Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support to foster their professional development


Requirements:

  • 7-10 years experience of accounting, finance, audit, returns, taxation
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity
  • Chartered Accountant (or equivalent) trained in a reputable practice
  • Strong Analytical Skills and Knowledge of Finance Principles
  • Ability to communicate financial information effectively to external stakeholders.
  • Positive attitude with a ‘can-do’ approach and willingness to take on various tasks.
  • Proficiency in Accounting Softwares, ERP, and Microsoft Excel
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Immediate joiner preferred
