Job Description - Associate-Procurement


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Purchase Department as a Associate. The Associate will play a crucial role in supporting the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in sourcing suppliers and vendors for various goods and services required by the company.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
  • Prepare purchase orders, request for quotations (RFQs), and other procurement documents.
  • Review and analyze supplier proposals, negotiate terms and conditions, and finalize contracts.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns that may arise.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and related documents.
  • Assist in inventory management and optimization efforts.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in procurement.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management of 2 to 3 years is preferred is an add-on advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
