Position Overview:
Location Kochi
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Construction Project Lead with 15-20 years of experience in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Civil Engineering and demonstrate a passion for implementing innovative systems and processes. They have to oversee entire execution of Civil Constructions and MEP along with the junior team members assigned for the job. This role requires close collaboration with contractors and Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) for bill checking, audits and quality checks, ensuring our projects adhere to the highest standards. He must be a team player.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership: Oversee all phases of construction projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Quality Assurance: Collaborate with JLL to conduct regular audits and quality checks, implementing recommendations to enhance project outcomes.
Innovation Implementation: Introduce and integrate new systems, technologies, and methodologies to improve efficiency and project delivery.
Team Management: Lead and mentor a diverse team of professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment and project success.
Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Strong Understanding of Systems and processes.
Strong understanding of softwares such as AutoCAD, BIM
Experience: 15-20 years of progressive experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of construction management software, quality control programs, and modern construction methodologies.
Innovative Mindset: Demonstrated ability to implement new systems and technologies to enhance project performance.
Collaboration Skills: Experience working with third-party firms like JLL for audits and quality assurance.
Leadership Abilities: Proven capability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teams.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all stakeholders.
Certifications: Professional certifications such as PMP or equivalent are preferred.
