Purpose of the Position


Communications Provide Communications guidance and support to the Leadership Team:


  • Translate the business goals of Linde RSE into simpler and executable communication strategy and plan
  • Lead, support and execute projects and initiatives across Region Southeast Asia (RSE) of Linde
  • Provide support of all internal communications, media relations, crisis communications, marketing communications, and (where appropriate) public affairs activities for Linde Companies in RSE to support the delivery of business goals.


D&I:


To develop a robust DEI strategy for the organization which ensures a fair and inclusive workplace where employees can thrive professionally and personally.


Create a solid link and employee engagement through Communications and D&I.

Principal Responsibilities:


The role will provide key leadership to the business which involves:


Leadership Communication:


• Provide support on communications matters to the Leadership Team members.


Marketing Communications:


  • Assume the role as brand identity champion for compliance with corporate and product design/branding.
  • In close collaboration with Sales & Marketing teams, drive and implement customer communications activities based on Marketing strategy.
  • Establish and actively manage an integrated customer communications approach, depending Page 2 of 3 on customer requirements, covering e.g. fairs & events, digital, print, advertising, involving internal and external (PR) communications wherever necessary
  • Customer communications execution: Adaptation of globally available communication materials and development of new communication material (where required), e. g. printed collaterals (brochures, flyers, datasheets, catalogues…), videos/moving pictures and campaigns incl. advertisement both visually and in terms of messaging; oversee and steer production of communication materials.
  • Support the consistent delivery of new sales through proactive communications, including e.g.: brand management, Social Media communication, acceleration of e-channel development, sales promotion


Internal Communications:


  • Develop and implement internal communications strategies and programs; create and deliver plans that drive employees’ understanding of company priorities and key initiatives through engagement and alignment with the company’s business strategy.
  • Use an appropriate mix of electronic and print channels so that all employees have line of sight to The Linde Group’s Vision, and understand how they contribute to delivering the company’s business goals
  • Identify and analyze business and audience needs to deliver messages via the most appropriate mix of media and channels
  • Custodian for internet/intranet, including updates.


Media Relations, Crisis Communications, Investor Relations Communications, Public Relations

  • In conjunction with Global Communications team, develop and implement local media relations plans that inform external stakeholders: customers, communities, government agencies, prospective employees, investors and joint venture partners.


Crisis Management:


  • Custodian for the crisis management protocol and process.
  • Identify local need for crisis communications training.


D&I:


  • Develop and implement diversity and inclusion strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Advising senior leadership on strategic D&I plans
  • Working with different departments to ensure diverse hiring processes across the business.
  • Conducting research, getting data, and reporting to track important D&I metrics.
  • Ensuring the company and its employees adhere to DEI guidelines.
  • Conducting regular assessments and audits of organizational diversity policies and practices
  • Facilitating training and workshops on diversity and inclusion topics
  • Promoting awareness of diversity and inclusion through various internal and external channels

Required Key Skills (Functional/Technical):


  • Excellent written and spoken English to convey messages effectively

  • Familiar with digital marketing and social media
  • B2B business acumen and understanding of B2C business
  • Solid understanding of customer communications campaign planning and execution


Required Qualifications/Experience:


  • 15 + years’ experience in Communications,
  • Creative Services etc o Masters University degree holder (communication Major).
