Responsibilities:

  • A software architect or a Senior Technical Lead with strong experience in designing and developing high-end network packet processing (or traffic generating) applications. The applications could be focused on latest Technology trends Networking & Telecommunications through Layer-2 to Layer-7.
  • Strong experience in software design. Evaluate and propose alternate designs. Articulate the rationale behind selected designs to different stakeholders.
  • Strong exposure to multicore architecture, and System internals for Time Sensitive use-cases.
  • Define software performance measurement parameters.
  • Work with a team to define deliverables of a design. Lead the daily technical activities.
  • Define and work on high quality software devolvement practices like Unit-Tests, Code-Coverage, and Vulnerability tracking tools.
  • Interface with Engineering Management, Product Management and the team of Software Developers and Quality Assurance.
  • Work in an Agile/Waterfall development environment by collaborating effectively with coworkers within/across geographically separate teams.
  • Work on Customer Defects to triage, fix and test them in a highly demanding environment.
  • Guide/Mentor junior members in the team. Collaborate and drive technical communications with other Engineering teams, Support Teams or Customers as needed.

Requirement:

Candidate comes up with good industry experience in designing and developing networking Control plane / Data plane applications. Striving to design complex networking features in an energetic and dynamic software development environment.

  • BS/Btech/MS/Mtech in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed institution.
  • 10+ years of software development experience. 4+ years of Software design experience.
  • Solid experience in System Software / Network Software / Time Sensitive Applications development from scratch.
  • Solid understanding of Linux System Internals, Data-Structures, Operating-Systems, and OOPS Concepts.
  • Expertise in C++ / C-Programming, Networking Protocols (Layer-2, 3, 4).
  • Good analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation skills.
  • Professional Certifications (CCNP / CCIE / Software Development Methodologies etc.).
  • Exposure to Python / TCL / C# / Golang – Added advantage.
