Responsibilities:

This is a full-time on-site customer-facing role located in Hyderabad for a Lead Full Stack Engineer (Front-end Focus) with following responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and maintenance of complex web applications, with a primary focus on the front-end architecture and user interface.
  • Architect and implement high-performance, responsive, and accessible user interfaces using ReactJS.
  • Develop and maintain server-side logic and APIs using Node.js and related frameworks.
  • Design, develop, and deploy chatbot solutions with streaming responses, ensuring seamless user interactions.
  • Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
  • Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
  • Manage state in complex applications using state management libraries such as Redux or MobX.
  • Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic and functionalities.
  • Write comprehensive unit and integration tests using tools like Jest and Enzyme.
  • Translate Figma designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
  • Conduct Code review, performance tuning, debugging.
  • Keep abreast with emerging front-end technologies and incorporate them into our projects to ensure modern, cutting-edge designs.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior front-end engineers on the team.


Requirements/Eligibility:


Educational and Industry Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of extensive experience in full stack development, with a focus on front-end React.js ecosystem.
  • Must have prior industry experience in at least two of the following:
  • Developed and deployed a complex web application using ReactJS with advanced state management and performance optimizations.
  • Built a chatbot application with streaming responses using WebSockets or SSE, demonstrating real-time communication and seamless user interaction.
  • Developed and maintained a RESTful API using Node.js and a relevant framework, showcasing experience with database integration, authentication, and authorization.
  • Contributed significantly to an open-source project related to front-end or back-end development.


Technical:

  • Expert-level proficiency in ReactJS: Deep understanding of React components, hooks, context API, state management (Redux, Context API, Zustand, etc.), performance optimization techniques, and testing methodologies (Jest, React Testing Library).
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+): Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, closures, prototypes, and other core JavaScript concepts.
  • Proficiency in Node.js and related frameworks (Express, NestJS): Experience building RESTful APIs, handling asynchronous operations, and working with databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
  • Experience building chatbots with streaming responses: Knowledge of technologies like WebSockets, Server-Sent Events (SSE), or other real-time communication protocols. Experience with chatbot platforms or frameworks (e.g., Dialogflow, Rasa) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles: Ability to create pixel-perfect layouts and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git): Familiarity with branching strategies, pull requests, and code merging.
  • Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Chai, Cypress): Ability to write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
  • Experience with build tools (NPM, Webpack, Babel, Parcel).
  • Experience with Python and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) is a plus.
  • Solid proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
  • Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript, data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js).
  • Expertise in creating responsive and mobile-first web designs using CSS3, Flexbox, Grid, and preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JWT.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
