Role: Business Development Trainee


Note:

This is a research and communications oriented role for an MBA graduate

MUST HAVES:

Good with comms and research including various models like SWOT analysis, PESTLE analysis etc

Flair for advertising & consumer behaviour




Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Research and identify potential clients in target markets.
  • Maintain and update a database of leads.
  • Initiate contact with prospects through cold calls, emails, and social media.

Client Relationship Management

  • Assist in managing relationships with existing clients.
  • Support client onboarding processes by ensuring all elements needed in the handover and in place and shared with relevant stakeholders

Proposal & Pitch Development and building

  • Collaborate with internal teams to create customized proposals and pitches.
  • Tailor presentations to address client needs and showcase agency strengths.

Market Research

  • Analyze industry trends, competitor strategies, and client needs.
  • Identify opportunities for new services or market segments.

Coordination & Follow-Up

  • Setting up meetings with teams, ensuring attendees are aware of agenda, their roles, time of meeting, have access to decks etc.
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure timely delivery of client requirements.



Qualifications

  • An MBA graduate
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced understanding of marketing and advertising concepts.
  • Strong research ability with knowledge of models like SWOT analysis, PESTLE analysis etc
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • 0-1 years of prior agency-related business development experience
