stakeholders to enhance the quality of education and research within the psychology school.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
- Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the school
- Oversee the development and implementation of academic policies, programs, and initiatives.
- Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Promote interdisciplinary collaboration within the humanities and with other divisions.
- Academic and Research Excellence:
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality academic programs that meet the needs of students and the community.
Faculty and Staff Development:
- Recruit, retain, and develop a diverse and highly qualified faculty and staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to faculty and staff.
- Encourage professional growth and development opportunities for all team members.
Student Success:
- Advocate for and support student-centered initiatives that enhance learning, engagement, and retention.
- Ensure the availability of academic advising, mentoring, and support services for students.
- Promote experiential learning opportunities, such as internships, research projects, and community engagement.
Qualifications:
- A doctoral degree in a relevant psychology and related discipline.
- A distinguished record of teaching, research, and service appropriate for a senior faculty appointment.
- Proven leadership and administrative experience in higher education.
