The Oracle EBS Developer will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions (RICE), and REST services within Oracle E-Business Suite vR12.2. The role demands extensive technical expertise, hands-on experience, and a solid understanding of Oracle General Ledger, DRM (Data Relationship Management), and Procure to Pay processes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom RICE components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions) within Oracle E-Business Suite vR12.2.
  • Develop RESTful web services to facilitate integration and enhance the functionality of Oracle EBS.
  • Create and manage Oracle Forms, Reports, and BI Publisher reports.
  • Perform data migration and conversion tasks, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Oracle EBS and other systems using REST APIs, web services, and other methods.
  • Customize and extend Oracle EBS modules using Oracle Application Framework (OAF) and Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF).
  • Collaborate with business analysts to gather and analyze functional requirements, particularly in the areas of Oracle General Ledger, DRM, and Procure to Pay.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for RICE components and REST services in Oracle EBS.
  • Participate in system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards, best practices, and security policies.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and training materials.
  • Stay updated with the latest Oracle technologies and industry trends.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle E-Business Suite development, with hands-on expertise in RICE components and REST services.
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, SQL, and RESTful web services.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle EBS modules, especially Oracle General Ledger, DRM, and Procure to Pay.
  • Experience with Oracle Workflow Builder and Oracle BI Publisher.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Application Framework (OAF) and Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is desirable.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oracle EBS R12.2 certification.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud applications.
  • Knowledge of Oracle EBS architecture and database schema.
  • Experience in performance tuning and optimization.
