Job Summary: The Batch Incharge is responsible for overseeing the academic and administrative activities of the MBA and PGDM batches. This role includes ensuring the smooth functioning of the batch, providing support to students, coordinating with faculty, and maintaining high standards of academic delivery. The Batch Incharge acts as a liaison between students, faculty, and the administration, ensuring that the academic goals and requirements of the institution are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Academic Coordination:
  • Coordinate with faculty to schedule lectures, workshops, and seminars.
  • Ensure timely completion of the syllabus as per the academic calendar.
  • Monitor and evaluate the academic performance of students.
  • Assist in the preparation and dissemination of academic materials.
  1. Student Support:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for student queries and concerns.
  • Provide guidance and counseling to students on academic and personal issues.
  • Organize and facilitate student orientation programs.
  • Address and resolve any student-related issues promptly.
  1. Administrative Duties:
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance.
  • Prepare and submit periodic reports on batch performance to the Academic Head/Program Director.
  • Coordinate the logistics for examinations and other assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional policies and regulations.
  1. Liaison and Communication:
  • Facilitate communication between students, faculty, and administration.
  • Organize regular meetings with students and faculty to address concerns and provide updates.
  • Coordinate with other departments for various academic and extracurricular activities.
  1. Event Management:
  • Plan and organize academic events such as guest lectures, industry visits, and conferences.
  • Facilitate student participation in extracurricular activities, competitions, and community service programs.
  1. Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure that the quality of education delivered meets the institution’s standards.
  • Implement feedback mechanisms to continually improve academic processes.
  1. Compliance and Reporting:
  • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
  • Prepare documentation and reports required for accreditation and other evaluations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Educational Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Additional qualifications in education management or administration are preferred.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in academic administration or a related role.
  • Experience in managing MBA/PGDM programs is highly desirable.
  • Skills:
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using academic management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, students, and administrative staff.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle stressful situations with tact and professionalism.
