Roles and Responsibilities of a Senior Social Media Manager:

  • Developing and executing platform-centric content strategy and calendar. Planning the Advance Post Mix before the month starts and formulating strategies along with the Digital Marketing Team for its attainment.
  • Staying updated about the latest social media trends and executing relevant topical content.
  • Creating data-driven conceptual social media marketing campaigns for social media/paid ads/pitch presentations.
  • Keeping updated with the Current Branding Scenario, Popular Culture, and Advertising and Social Media Trends.
  • Analysing the social media performance of campaigns/content using analytics such as Meta, Google Analytics, and other relevant sources.
  • Analyzing engagement patterns to understand preferences and optimize content strategies.
  • Basic Coordination of the Social Media Marketing Department by creating synchronization between the Digital Team.
  • Coordinating with the internal team to ensure that the SMMs are planned, written, designed, and posted and reports are made on their respective Date and Time.
  • Ensuring that the deadlines are met as per commitment and regularizing the communication channel among the Creative Members.
  • Developing creative, attention-grabbing, unique, and engaging ideas and concepts in synchronization with the Account Managing Team after properly interpreting the briefs to persuade for the overall visibility of the Brand or Product.
  • Brainstorming ideas and concepts for the visual and words with members of the creative team and presenting the Ideas to the Creative Director.
  • Updating with the changes, revising, and redeveloping the concepts in terms of Creative Deliverables as per the feedback from the Clients & AM Members.
  • Adhering to the brand mandates while writing Digital (Social Media/Paid Ads/WhatsApp/RSA/Display ads/Any other format) Content for various platforms.
  • Proofread the copy to check spelling, grammar, and vocabulary.
  • Reviewing and approving the planned content after a thorough Quality Check (QC).
  • Interpreting briefs with the Account Managers and Copy Team as per the Client's Requirements.
  • Coordinating with Account Managers through the Productive Stage to the Completion of the Deliverables.
