Fund Controller - Infinyte Club

We are a wealth tech platform with startup equity investments as one of our core asset class. We started with a mission to help startup operators find liquidity for their hard-earned ESOPs. As we build the secondary market in India, we are bringing to life some of the most exciting private equity assets and financial tools to help startup founders, Solo GPs and operators reimagine wealth creation.


About the role :


We are looking for stellar individual to join our AIF team to work on varying degrees of problems across transaction management, investor relations and end-to-end fund operations and compliance. 


The role is ideally tailored for individuals with experience in Transaction /Deal Advisory or Financial Services or PE/VC space and have an all-round understanding of start-up investments along with it’s transaction journey and are eager to immerse themselves in a high-pressure environment, alongside a founding team building for the next generation of wealthy.


Key Responsibilities : 


AIF operation and investor relations : 


  • Collaborate with various financial intermediaries to manage fund operations, encompassing accounting, valuation, regulatory reporting, and compliance. 
  • Perform periodic portfolio management activities to ensure optimal fund performance. 
  • Oversee the KYC processes and facilitate smooth onboarding of investors onto our platform. 
  • Address investor inquiries related to their investments and manage the settlements and reconciliations of funds efficiently. 
  • Drive the continuous automation of operations by developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance and streamline customer operations and experiences. 
  • Work closely with the product, technology, and business teams to stay abreast of new developments and regulations, and manage projects from their inception through to the release stage, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.


Transaction management :


  • Lead the entire transaction cycle of startup deals from initial onboarding through to final closure. 
  • Take charge of transaction execution with a consumer-focused mindset, collaborating closely with business teams and functional experts in legal, tax, and accounting, as well as various due diligence advisors, to facilitate both primary and secondary private equity transactions


New initiative :


  • Support IC strategic initiatives including product and business development activities
  • Support organising Demo days, learning sessions & other events


The Ideal Candidate 


  • CA with about 2-3 yrs of work experience. Brownie points for candidates with CS/legal/CFA backgrounds.
  • Experience in (a) transactions including M&A/equity investments, or (b) consulting in financial services sector, would be an advantage
  • Understanding of the SEBI and RBI regulations 
  • Outstanding track record of academic achievement with excellent communication skills
  • Has attention to detail, structured approach and thrives for excellence 
  • Passionate about early-stage investing, technology and start-ups
  • Temperament to work in cross-functional teams and ability to interact and coordinate with other businesses, teams and individuals for execution
  • Knows their way around Excel and PPT
